Gym and Dressing Rooms Project Update

Thanks to our partners in this Gym & Dressing Rooms Project, Gildoc Limited, very visual progress has been made since our last update with the finish line very much in sight.

With the exception of some minor works, the exterior of the Gym & Dressing Rooms is complete.

The works will begin on the interior of both the Gym & Dressing Rooms in the next week.

Our very hard-working Fundraising Team continue in their efforts to bring as many of our Club members on board to support the financial cost of this Project.

The Gym when complete will be a state-of-the-art Gym which will benefit all players from our adult teams right down through the various age groups and teams across all codes of the Club forming part of not only group S&C team sessions but will also be available to all members of the Club for individual use.

We are asking all adult players across all Codes including parents/guardians of our younger players to support this Gym & Dressing Rooms Project which will ultimately be available to benefit all our players and Club members, current and future.

We thank all those who have already come on board to support this project.

Chair

Éire Óg Fantasy Premier League 25/26

The Premier League returns on Friday, 15th August and we're delighted to announce that the Eire Óg Fantasy Football league is back for another season. We’ve had huge interest and participation over the past three seasons, and it continues to prove a great success. For convenience, the Eire Og private league will simply renew this season, so those in it last year will automatically be re-entered for this season but you must buy the product online to process your payment. If you no longer wish to partake, you can simply remove your team from the league.

Step 1:
For those who haven’t played before and want to dip their toe, the first step is to register your Fantasy Football team at the following website:
https://fantasy.premierleague.com/

Step 2:
Entry is €30 and can be paid at the following link via the club shop:
https://eireoginis.ie/products

Aside from banter amongst members and their friends, this is also a club fundraising activity. 50% of total entry fees will go toward prizes with the remaining 50% going toward the development of our club. Prizes will therefore be announced after the closing date for entry. Similar to the past couple of seasons, there will be overall prizes but also monthly prizes to keep players interested throughout regardless of overall standing.

The closing time and date for entry is 6.30pm on Thursday, 14th August. We hope that whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro, you’ll consider entering and spreading the word far and wide to keep us all busy tinkering with our teams over the winter months.

Trip to Croke Park!

Our U11 Academy hurlers were in Croke Park on Monday, 28th July representing Eire Og for the annual Club Hurling Day. We played teams from Passage West (Cork), Eire Og Annacarthy/Donohill (Tipperary) and Ballybrown (Limerick). Our visit concluded with a fantastic stadium tour followed by a pitstop in Supermacs on the way home. A wonderful day out for the boys and coaches.

Club Lotto

Club lotto jackpot now stands at €3625. Last Thursday’s numbers were: 1, 5, 7, 24. There was no Jackpot winners and 2 Match 3 winners with Carol Linnane and Sinead Ginnane each netting €50. The Promoters Prize of €25 went to Michael Skelly. Well done to all. Paul will be in touch re prizes.

Enter club lotto online on the link below, play ahead for up to 52 weeks for just €2 per week:
