County Final Weekend
It’s been a long week but Sunday is almost upon us! We hope you have sat back and enjoyed the build up as the day will go in a flash. There has been a lot of excitement with huge support and colour in the local primary schools, houses and businesses in town. We are hearing a certain school in Kilrush even splashed out the red and white for a popular Mr Corry! The kids from Ennis National School represented the club proudly this morning on Clare FM, with plenty of chat and a special song for the hurling final. You can listen back to the recording and view some photos from all the schools here at this Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16chwsarxw/
The game throws in at 3.30pm, however you should arrive well in advance in order to avoid delays and get a good viewing spot. Our U10 boys and girls will play their mini blitz at 2pm and we would love to see a nice crowd there for them and we need a good shout too for when our team enter the field!
You will see in the next section information on juvenile tickets. Ensure to purchase your tickets early to avoid a rush on the website, and of course buying online is cheaper than paying at the gate. NB* tickets for the seated stand and sideline area can only be purchased online.
Match day programmes are already available in Spar Turnpike, Heaslip’s O’Connell St., and Coote’s Shop Kilrush Road. They cost €5 and must be paid by cash. A word of thanks to those that sponsored ads for the club in the programme and also in the local newspapers.
We wish Gerry, his management team and all the players the very best of luck for the game, we are backing ye all the way. Here’s to a good sporting game on the field and in the stands. Pack up those hats, flags and headbands, we will see ye all on Sunday. Come on the Townies

Clarification on Juvenile Tickets
Clarification on Juvenile Tickets
We distributed our regular ‘free’ juvenile County Final tickets during the week, many thanks to Coach Tomas for taking this job on, it has been a great way to build up to the final in our recent years especially. This year however, the Couty Board has changed the usual ticketing process; U16s are free into all of the terrace areas only (the standing stand and behind the goals), however a free ticket should still be booked for them, this can be done when purchasing adult tickets. There is no limit to the number of juvenile tickets that can be booked for the terrace areas.
The free tickets do not apply to the seated stand or sideline areas. U16s are now being charged €5 for those areas, they must be purchased with an adult ticket and there is a limit of 2 juvenile purchases with each adult ticket.
Tickets are available at the link in the previous section.
If you are unsure or have any questions on the day, the stewards at the Park will be happy to assist.

A couple of exciting weekends ahead for all of us in Éire Óg
Calling all club members and supporters to row in and help out by backing our senior teams and indeed, all our teams in every code.
Last year we had some success in the draw with Niall O’Connor won an All-Ireland package while the club won €1000 in the club specific draw, hopefully we net a few more winners in the current draw!
We have 2000 club draw tickets for sale @€15 each, can we sell them all??
Let’s go for it

U21 Championships
The start of the U21 Championship has been delayed; it will now start on the weekend of October 16th with football. The format and regulations are also changing. These changes are largely due to challenges some clubs are having due to teams still being involved in club championships.
